This weekend is the 1st of 13 full moons this year!
In several traditions (not all) this is the Wolf Moon, and it’s a supermoon. Wolf energy is a perfect pairing with Cancer, focusing on family (blood or found – wolves often have found families) and home.
With this moon’s brightness, it’s a great time to charge or create protection spells, shields, or sigils meant to enhance anything related to home and family. It’s also a great time to initiate any year-long process that might benefit from the moon’s tidal forces, as we begin AND end the year with a Cancer full moon, creating wonderful homey “bookends” for us to use.
